🔥 The Perfect Ciabatta Recipe – Soft, Airy, and Crispy! 🥖✨
Ingredients:
400 ml water
500 g flour
2 tsp sugar
1.5 tsp salt
30 ml oil
25 g fresh yeast
Instructions:
In 1/4 of the water (100 ml), add the yeast, sugar, and 2 tbsp of flour. Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
Add the remaining water, salt, oil, and the prepared yeast mixture.
Gradually add the flour while kneading to form a soft, sticky dough.
Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest in a warm place for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, fold the dough like an envelope: pull one side to the center, then the opposite side, followed by the other two sides.
Repeat this folding process every 30 minutes for about 4 times.
After the final fold, let the dough rest for another 30 minutes.
Gently transfer the dough onto a floured surface, divide it into 2–3 pieces, shape them into ciabatta loaves, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Let them proof for another 30–40 minutes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
