In this video, we walk you through the steps to playback recorded footage from your cameras connected to an Avalonix Premium Series DVR or NVR using the DMSS app. This tutorial will help you access and review past recordings, making it simple to watch and take snapshots or clips of your surveillance footage using your smartphone or tablet device.

We begin by opening the DMSS app and navigating to the "Playback" tab on the home screen. Next, you learn how to expand the NVR or DVR name so you can select the specific camera channel you want to review.

Once you've selected and opened playback for a channel, you'll learn how to control the player, including playing, pausing, and adjusting the playback speed. There's also a button to enable and listen to the audio if your camera supports it and you turned it on at the time of recording.

The camera icon makes taking snapshots of important footage simple, and the camera and scissors icons allow you to record and save video clips directly to the app on your device.

Managing multiple playback channels is straightforward, and we show you how to add more cameras to the playback view, switch between cameras, and remove cameras as needed.
