The Siberian Traps Eruption last for 1 million years and covered unbelievably large areas of land in layers of ever-increasing basalt. It was one of the most deadly eruptions considering the Great Dying Mass Extinction Event has been correlated to occurring alongside the same time when the Siberian Traps Eruption occurred.
